Our Religion Islam.

                              ISLAM News

Islam is the second largest religion in the world after Christianity, with about 1.8 billion Muslims worldwide. Although its roots go back further, scholars typically date the creation of Islam to the 7th century, making it the youngest of the major world religions. Islam started in Mecca, in modern-day Saudi Arabia, during the time of the prophet Muhammad’s life. Today, the faith is spreading rapidly throughout the world.

Quran:

The Quran (sometimes spelled Qur’an or Koran) is considered the most important holy book among Muslims.
It contains some basic information that is found in the Hebrew Bible as well as revelations that were given to Muhammad. The text is considered the sacred word of God and supercedes any previous writings.
Most Muslims believe that Muhammad’s scribes wrote down his words, which became the Quran. (Muhammad himself was never taught to read or write.)
The book is written with Allah as the first person, speaking through Gabriel to Muhammad. It contains 114 chapters, which are called surahs.
Scholars believe the Quran was compiled shortly after Muhammad’s death, under the guidance of Caliph Abu Bakr.

Karachi enjoying Fish!

KARACHI: The harsh cold of winter brings with it a yearning for some deliciously cooked white meat. And a new eatery in town has been creating a lot of buzz—not only for the flavour of well-cooked fish but also its interactive experience.
A small roadside restaurant in Federal B Area empowers customers to witness their meal (fish) getting cooked right in front of them. All a customer has to do is point out the fish he/she wants to eat — from a large tank containing several of each kind — and it will be caught, cooked and served to you.

Foreign players not coming slow! PSL

Most foreign players to reach Pakistan a week before PSL action begins.

KARACHI: Foreign players participating in Pakistan Super League (PSL) except those from Australia, South Africa and England will join their teams at least one week before the matches begin, The News has learnt on Tuesday.
This is the first time that all PSL matches are going to be played in the country. Sources involved in the preparation for PSL said the teams would train and practise at NSK and a stadium owned by a bank under tight security arrangements.
Players from the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and Bangladesh will start reaching Pakistan at least one week before the matches. The players from Australia, England and South Africa will arrive three days before the matches begin.
The PCB aims to make PSL’s inauguration ceremony in Karachi a memorable event and boost Pakistan’s image as a peace-loving country. A PCB marketing team visited National Stadium last week to review the arrangements for the inauguration ceremony.
The PCB released the title song of PSL 2020 on Tuesday. A PCB official said that the official anthem of HBL Pakistan Super League 2020, “Tayyar Hain” was released across the country. The song is the result of a collaboration of famous pop star Ali Azmat, folk music legend Arif Lohar, former Awaz singer Haroon Rashid and famous pop artist Asim Azhar. They will perform at the opening ceremony in Karachi, which is also likely to feature showbiz peronalities such as Mahira Khan and Mehvish Hayat.
Interestingly, no PCB official was willing to confirm the participation of any female leading artist. PCB’s media wing leak information about important matters to their favourite reporters but are unwilling to share such information. Despite several attempts, PCB officials did not reveal the names of people who are going to perform at the opening ceremony.

Modi thinks he can defeat Pakistan in 10 days!

Pakistan rejects Modi's       statement, warns India not to       underestimate armed forces.

NEW DELHI:
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuing his belligerent narrative against Islamabad, has claimed that India is now capable of making Pakistan “bite the dust” in less than 10 days

The nuclear-armed neighbours have fought three wars and last February came close to a fourth with tit-for-tat airstrikes sparked by an attack on Indian troops in occupied Kashmir.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday rejected the "belligerent rhetoric" by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, warning New Delhi not to underestimate its armed forces.
The Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson said in a statement that Modi's remarks were a "reflection of India's incurable obsession with Pakistan and the BJP Government and leadership's desperate attempts to divert attention from growing domestic and international criticism" of occupied Kashmir.
Modi had said a few days ago that India's army would not take more than seven to 10 days to make Pakistan "bite the dust". FO Spokesperson Aisha Farooqui said Modi's remarks demonstrated the BJP's extremist mindset and how it had permeated through its state institutions.
She said that Pakistan's "immediate and effective response" to India's Balakot bombing last year was enough to demonstrate to New Delhi the preparedness, will and capacity of the armed forces.
"No one should underestimate the resolve of the people and the armed forces of Pakistan to effectively thwart any aggressive action," she said.
Farooqui urged the international community to take note of Modi's statements, saying that the belligerent rhetoric and aggressive measures by India were a threat to regional peace and security.
She further said that Pakistan wished for a peaceful resolution to the occupied Kashmir problem. Farooqui said Pakistan wished for durable peace and stability to prevail in South Asia.
Tensions reached a new high between India and Pakistan after August 5, 2019 when India scrapped the special status of occupied Kashmir (IoK). It has been almost six months and the curfew imposed on the disputed territory continues.
The valley has been under a strict military-enforced curfew as Indian authorities block communication services and restrict freedom of travel.

The 2020 FIFA Club World Cup will be the 17th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, a FIFA-organised international club football tournament between the winners of the six continental confederations, as well as the host nation's league champions.

If a team from Qatar wins the AFC Champions League, the best-placed team outside of Qatar in the AFC Champions League will be invited in place of the Qatar league winners. Therefore, the participation of the Qatar league winners will only be officially confirmed after the last team from Qatar (other than the league winners themselves) are eliminated from the 2020 AFC Champions League. If the Qatar league winners win the AFC Champions League, they will enter the second round.

Ever thought of how death feels?

                                           What is death?

The Quran at its several places discusses the issue of death. Death is inevitable. No matter how much people try to escape death, it will reach everyone (50:19). Again, those who deny resurrection and afterlife, and thus challenge God, the Quran challenges them by saying that why these people then do not put back the soul which has reached the throat (of the dying person) and is about to escape the body? (56:83–84). It also says that when death approaches the sinners and disbelievers, and they sense the upcoming chastisement, they pray to God to go back to life to do some good deeds; but this will never be granted (23:99–100). Probably the most-frequently quoted verse of the Quran about death is: "Every soul shall taste death, and only on the Day of Judgment will you be paid your full recompense." At another place, the Quran urges mankind: "And die not except in a state of Islam" (3:102) because "Truly, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam" (3:19). Other verses related with this issue are: "He (Allah) who created death and life, so that He may test you as to which of you is better in deeds. And He is the All-Mighty, the Most-Forgiving" (67:2); "Certainly, they see it (resurrection) as distant, but We see it as near" (70:6–7).

What will happen after death?

Ākhirah (Arabic: الآخرة) is an Islamic term referring to the afterlife. It is repeatedly referenced in chapters of the Quran concerning the Last Judgment, an important part of Islamic eschatology. Traditionally, it is considered to be one of the six main beliefs of Muslims. According to the Islamic beliefs, God will play the role of the qadi, weighing the deeds of each individual. He will decide whether that person's ʾākhirah lies in Jahannam (Hell) or Jannah (Heaven) on the basis of the weight of either good or bad deeds in comparison with one another.

Non Stop Earthquakes

Earthquakes are increasing day by day!

To know the real reason behind increase in earthquakes open this link https://islamqa.info/en/answers/2593/why-are-there-so-many-earthquakes

So what are the causes of earthquakes?
The Earth’s crust consists of seven large lithospheric plates and numerous smaller plates. These plates move towards each other (a convergent boundary), apart (a divergent boundary) or past each other (a transform boundary).
Earthquakes are caused by a sudden release of stress along faults in the earth's crust. The continuous motion of tectonic plates causes a steady build-up of pressure in the rock strata on both sides of a fault until the stress is sufficiently great that it is released in a sudden, jerky movement. The resulting waves of seismic energy propagate through the ground and over its surface, causing the shaking we perceive as earthquakes.

Safety
More than a million earthquakes rattle the world each year. The West Coast is most at risk of having an earthquake, but earthquakes can happen in the Midwest and along the East Coast. Always listen to the radio and television for the latest information and instructions for your area.
BEFORE AN EARTHQUAKE:
  • Have a disaster plan.
  • Choose a safe place in every room. It’s best to get under a sturdy piece of furniture like a table or a desk where nothing can fall on you.
  • Practice DROP, COVER AND HOLD ON! Drop under something sturdy, hold on, and protect your eyes by pressing your face against your arm.
  • If you live in an earthquake prone area, bolt tall furniture to the wall and install strong latches to cupboards.
  • Prepare a disaster supplies kit for your home and car. Include a first aid kit, canned food and a can opener, bottled water, battery-operated radio, flashlight, protective clothing and written instructions on how to turn off electricity, gas, and water.
DURING AN EARTHQUAKE:
  • DROP, COVER AND HOLD ON!
  • Stay indoors until the shaking stops.
  • Stay away from windows.
  • If you’re in bed, hold on and stay there, protecting your head with a pillow.
  • If you’re outdoors, find a clear spot away from buildings, trees and power lines. Then, drop to the ground.
  • If you’re in a car, slow down and drive to a safe place. Stay in the car until the shaking stops.
AFTER THE SHAKING STOPS:
  • Check for injuries.
  • Inspect your home for damage.
  • Eliminate fire hazards, so turn off the gas if you think its leaking.
  • Expect aftershocks. Each time you feel one, DROP, COVER AND HOLD ON.

Free Palestine

On Twitter the most discussed topic is ''Free Palestine''

What are Israel and Palestine? Why are they fighting?

MAY ALLAH help our Palestine Muslim families.
Israel is the world’s only Jewish state, located just east of the Mediterranean Sea. Palestinians, the Arab population that hails from the land Israel now controls, refer to the territory as Palestine, and want to establish a state by that name on all or part of the same land. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is over who gets what land and how it’s controlled.
Though both Jews and Arab Muslims date their claims to the land back a couple thousand years, the current political conflict began in the early 20th century. Jews fleeing persecution in Europe wanted to establish a national homeland in what was then an Arab- and Muslim-majority territory in the Ottoman and later British Empire. The Arabs resisted, seeing the land as rightfully theirs. An early United Nations plan to give each group part of the land failed, and Israel and the surrounding Arab nations fought several wars over the territory. Today’s lines largely reflect the outcomes of two of these wars, one waged in 1948 and another in 1967.
Today, the West Bank is nominally controlled by the Palestinian Authority and is under Israeli occupation. This comes in the form of Israeli troops, who enforce Israeli security restrictions on Palestinian movement and activities, and Israeli “settlers,” Jews who build ever-expanding communities in the West Bank that effectively deny the land to Palestinians. Gaza is controlled by Hamas, an Islamist fundamentalist party, and is under Israeli blockade but not ground troop occupation.
The primary approach to solving the conflict today is a so-called “two-state solution” that would establish Palestine as an independent state in Gaza and most of the West Bank, leaving the rest of the land to Israel. Though the two-state plan is clear in theory, the two sides are still deeply divided over how to make it work in practice.
The alternative to a two-state solution is a “one-state solution,” wherein all of the land becomes either one big Israel or one big Palestine. Most observers think this would cause more problems than it would solve, but this outcome is becoming more likely over time for political and demographic reasons.
